The Kitchen Committee has enjoyed a successful holiday season in being able to provide Christmas gifts for the United Methodist Church's Children's Home due to your generosity with the "Loose Coins" program, which netted $275.00. Thank you to all who helped make some wishes come true.

The Kitchen Committee contributes to many different fund-raising activities in our church,

We also work with the Floral City Elem. across the street on some of their fund-raising events such as their December PTA spaghetti dinner and program.

We assist with church members and their families planning large get-togethers for holidays, weddings, etc., in addition to non-member activities requiring nominal fee.

The well-known "Chick'n Biscuit" dinners (held the last Saturday of each month) are resuming this month on Saturday, serving 3:30 6:00 p.m. in Hilton Hall. The menu consists of tender chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, salad and vegetable, a biscuit, of course, homemade desserts, and choice of beverage for donation of $6.00. Call ahead day of dinner for carry-outs: 344-1771.

Don't forget the Covered Dish every third Friday of the month , 6:00 p.m.

We always need help in the kitchen for all these events, as well as table & chair set-up. Thank you to all who have been so generous with their help this past year.
